Dr. Nadia Nguyen is an epidemiologist and implementation scientist whose research focuses on implementing and evaluating the use of new HIV treatment and prevention options, including long-acting injectables. She is a member of the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning team for the HRSA and Minority HIV/AIDS Fund supported AIM to ALAI UP Project ("Accelerating Implementation of Multilevel-strategies to Advance Long-Acting Injectables for Underserved Populations"), a Special Project of National Significance which is supporting the equitable implementation and delivery of long-acting injectable ART at eight demonstration sites in EHE jurisdictions across the US providing care to underserved populations and communities of color.

Dr. Nguyen is also a co-investigator on several studies, including a combination drug-level monitoring and coaching intervention to help patients safely discontinue long-acting injectable cabotegravir for PrEP and stay engaged in HIV prevention, and a clinical-decision support intervention to support HIV testing and PrEP education in dental settings.

Dr. Nguyen received her MSPH and PhD in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her NIMH-funded postdoctoral fellowship in behavioral research at the HIV Center for Clinical and Behavioral Studies at New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University.
